As part of our “Resilient Regions” project, a group of representatives from Ukrainian regional media outlets has already successfully completed two preparatory training sessions and is preparing for the next important stage — a study visit to Berlin.

Ahead lies an exchange of professional experience with German colleagues, an introduction to the working methods of European newsrooms, the establishment of new contacts, and the development of long-term partnerships between Ukrainian and German media outlets.

We are convinced that strong, independent regional media are one of the cornerstones of Ukrainian communities’ resilience, especially amid a full-scale war. That is precisely why investments in their professional development, international cooperation, and the exchange of expertise are of strategic importance.

We sincerely thank our partners — the German Federal Foreign Office, Cultural Vistas, and Radio “We Are Ukraine” — for their support of the project, their trust, and their contribution to the development of independent Ukrainian journalism.

There’s still a lot of exciting work ahead! Together, we’re strengthening Ukrainian media and building new international partnerships.
